Kennoway Star Hearts Junior Football Club

 

Kennoway Star Hearts JFC are a football club who play in Star of Markinch, Fife. The club currently plays its football in the McBookie's East Region North League. Star Hearts were formed due to the merge of two very successful local amateur clubs playing in that area.

 

In their first season as a Junior Football Club, Star Hearts were written off by many and were expected to be on the receiving end of many heavy defeats. However, after a slow start to the season, the Budgies managed to pull themselves together, and build a talented squad who won them a high finish, meaning that they just missed out on promotion to the Premier League.
